This kitchen remodel in the heart of downtown Phoenix’s historic district blends timeless elegance with modern craftsmanship. The focal point is the custom green cabinetry, designed to add a pop of color and warmth, with a butcher block extension at the end that provides both functionality and style. No detail in the design was spared.
The custom stainless-steel hood adds a sleek, industrial touch, perfectly balancing old-world charm and modern aesthetics. The crowning detail is the Avocatus granite countertops, which offer a striking natural finish and are durable enough to withstand everyday kitchen use. This project showcases how thoughtful design and custom elements can transform a historic space into a functional, modern-day centerpiece while honoring its original character.
Bookshelves were built into the end of the island for the homeowner’s array of cookbooks. A statement piece, the custom-paneled refrigerator is built to resemble a freestanding furniture piece, seamlessly integrating into the kitchen’s vintage feel.
